- Check the main sprinkler shut off valve for proper operation and turn water on
- Check backflow preventer for leaks and properly orientate the ball valves and test cocks
- Locate electric valves and check for proper operation
- Test electric valves for leaks
- Locate timer and test for performance
- Check for proper operation of each sprinkler head on every zone
- Tune each head for optimal spray pattern and spray distance
- Set timer as customer directs, provide recommendations

Please note that if your system has special circumstances that require additional time spent on valve locating, extensive drip irrigation locating, crawl space maneuvering, etc., you may receive an additional charge to compensate for the additional labor. The vast majority of systems we service do not require additional fees, but every system is different, some were installed several decades ago. As soon as it is clear to the technician that extra time will be needed, they will inform you and won’t move forward with the additional work without your permission.
